There’s no bigger fan of Audrey McGraw than her proud dad, Tim McGraw—and he’s letting the world know it.
On May 27, the country superstar took to Instagram to share his excitement about his youngest daughter’s upcoming single, “Thunder,” dropping this Friday, May 30. Alongside a preview of the hauntingly beautiful track, McGraw gushed:
“Here comes another Audrey song this Friday! One of my favorites!!”
He even reposted Audrey’s own heartfelt caption, where she teased a lyric from the new release:
“You’ll weep silent tears, but they’ll feel like thunder…”
Audrey opened up about the inspiration behind the song, revealing a deeply personal creative process:
“My song is yours on Friday. I wrote it sitting at the piano in Nashville, late at night. Per usual. My mind needed something to say after a long summer. And this came out. Whatever it means now, whatever it means to you… It gave me some relief.”
With a soft yet soulful voice that many fans say mirrors Faith Hill, Audrey’s music is already striking an emotional chord. The teaser clip on social media left fans buzzing:
💬 “Her voice is angelic!”
💬 “Music runs through her.”
💬 “Goosebumps. Absolute goosebumps.”
And there’s more on the horizon—Audrey is gearing up for her debut album and will be joining Brandi Carlile on tour this summer, marking a major moment in her blossoming career.
This isn’t the first time McGraw has shown up in full support of his daughters’ artistic journeys. Just this year, he was seen at Carnegie Hall, cheering on his eldest, Gracie McGraw, in a special concert presentation. He also rallied fans behind her off-Broadway debut in 2023.
One thing is clear: whether it’s Audrey, Maggie, or Gracie, Tim McGraw is the kind of dad who shows up, cheers loud, and leads with love.
